Hello, ready, the Easter holidays are over and I come back with new recipes that I hope you will be tempted to try. every time. It is not very difficult to make, it is tasty and it certainly has an aspect that will delight children.

For the countertop we need:

  • 275g old powder
  • 250g butter (82% fat)
  • 6 medium-sized eggs
  • a sachet of baking powder (10g)
  • 360g flour
  • vanilla essence
For the cream we need:

  • 400ml liquid cream for whipped cream
  • 400g dark chocolate or household chocolate
  • 200g whipped cream
  • optional 2-3 tablespoons of milk
For decoration we need:

  • 200g marzipan (found in the supermarket)
  • 2 M&M candies
Method of preparation:

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and grease a round tray with a diameter of 22 cm and a height of about 5 cm with butter and place baking paper on the base.

Grease the butter (mix it a little) then gradually add the powdered sugar, continuing to mix and finally add vanilla to taste. Mix the sugar with butter for about 4 minutes until it turns into a frothy cream.

Beat a few eggs to mix the egg whites with the yolks and gradually pour them over the butter cream, mixing until you put the whole amount of eggs.
Separately mix the flour with the baking powder and lightly incorporate with a wooden spatula or spoon into the composition or if you use the mixer turn on the lower speed when you incorporate the flour.
When the mixture is homogeneous, pour it into the tray prepared for the countertop and put the composition in the preheated oven for about 40-50 minutes.

To see if it is baked, check with a toothpick that inserted in the top it must come out clean after 5 seconds. When it is ready, take the top out of the oven and let it cool in the tray.
For the cream, put the 400ml liquid cream for the whipped cream in a saucepan and heat it on the fire without reaching the boiling point. When it is hot enough, turn off the hob (stove) and add the finely chopped chocolate. Stir gently until the chocolate melts and the composition is homogeneous, then put it in the fridge and let it cool and the cream hardens.
When it has cooled, take it out of the fridge and with the help of a mixer (if you don't mix it with a spoon or a whisk) gradually incorporate the whipped cream, mixing at low speed. If you find the cream too hard, add 2-3 tablespoons of cold milk and mix well.

If you use dark chocolate it is good to sweeten whipped cream. If it is vegetable cream it is already sweet but if it is liquid cream for whipped cream, when you mix it you have to add sugar because it is not sweet. Be careful not to mix a lot of whipped cream, it should be a softer whipped cream. If you use household chocolate you should not add sugar because household chocolate is sweeter and is not the case.

Cake assembly:
First cut the top of the worktop to be as straight as possible, then cut the worktop into three horizontal slices. Place the first countertop sheet (top sheet) at the bottom on the cake tray and grease it with cream, place the second countertop sheet on top, grease it with cream then place the last countertop sheet and coat the cake in -a thin layer of cream.

Put the rest of the cream in a pos provided with a star-type accessory and form a "fur" of the cream with its help on the edges of the cake (below you have pictures of how to decorate this cake step by step or you can watch the recipe on youtube ).

We start with the sheets for the countertop, four sheets of cocoa without flour. Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Beat the egg whites sprinkled with salt, then gradually add 125 g of sugar. The yolks are mixed with a pinch of salt and 125 g of sugar. Combine the two compositions and incorporate the cocoa.

In a baking tray lined with baking paper lay a sheet of cake sheet composition 1 cm thick. This will result in four sheets that bake for 15 minutes at 190 degrees. Leave the sheets to cool, then cut them with the 24 cm cake-shaped ring.

For the mascarpone cream, froth the mascarpone with the sugar and a pinch of salt, then mix with the whipped cream.

For the salted caramel cream, caramelize the sugar with the water until it turns amber. Add the liquid cream and mix well until smooth, then add the butter cut into small pieces and mix again until the cream is smooth. At the end, add salt to taste. Allow the salted caramel cream to cool well before assembling the delicious salted caramel cake.

The cake will be assembled inside the circular shape with which we cut the sheets. Place the first sheet of cocoa at the base and spread 1/4 of the caramel cream over it, then 1/4 of the mascarpone cream. Next is the second sheet with cocoa, and caramel, mascarpone and so on, resulting in four uniform layers of sheets with delicious creams on top.

From the leftover leaves left after cutting, we make small cubes with which we decorate the delicious cake with salted caramel, on top. The result will be an extremely delicious and good-looking cake, which we will refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing, so that the layers can be placed well and nicely.

8. Butterfly cake

The butterfly cake is also easy to make. For this, you need a round countertop, which you will cut in half. The two halves of the circle will be placed one behind the other, the right edge being positioned outside. Cut the countertop and width into three parts and then cut a triangle with the base outward, just below the middle of the left and right edges, so that the countertop takes the shape of butterfly wings. The two lower wings must be smaller than the upper wings. Syrup the tops and put the cream between them. For the outer coating, you can use colored marzipan or creams of different colors. Decorate the delicious butterfly cake as creative as possible!

How to assemble the delicious Banoffee Cake
